holy crap
they won
they really frakking won
I spent the weekend out of the loop, without access to even a radio to get some sports news. I was so fried last night that I didn't check, but it was the first thing on my plate this morning.
The Seahawks are going to the SuperBowl.
For twenty years (and a bit of change), I've cheered for the 'hawks. They never seemed to get beyond the first round of playoff games, if they even got that far, but that didn't stop me (see, mousie? It's not just you I do it with). The potential always seemed to be there, but they were chronically hampered by self-inflated egoists and injuries; things just never would click completely into place.
*blinkblinks* Now I'm going to have to find a radio or portable television for game day, since I'm fairly sure I'm on the hook for a painting gig...

Being close to the heart of Brownstown but on the edge of Steelerville (I'm just a mite closer to Youngstown than Cleveland and Youngstown is about as Pennsylvania as you can get and still be in Ohio; and tends to be a yellow and black town instead of orange and brown) I'm going to have to go with Pittsburg. Any team that can be ranked #6 going into the playoffs and manhandle their opponents the way they did... They're hungry

Thanks for updating again BTW
