Apparently I'm having a blonde week. Not a day, mind you, but an entire week.
*rolled eyes* And on to the more important stuff...
In my wanderings, I stumbled into The Pegasus Nominees Site... and decided to set a spell and flip through things. There, I found lyrics to Kathy Mar's Velveteen. Anyone have a copy of this one? It's not on any of the albums from her that're still available, or I'd simply be adding it to my 'need to get' list. :( But on her website there are a few tracks that're downloadable from her My Favorite Sings release, which I did grab. They're being imported now so that I can listen to them. I really wish some of the 'out of print' filk albums would be re-pressed. Next time I get out to Illinois I'm going to try and ambush D & Y's collection; I know there're a half dozen out of print Firebird Arts releases there, and a dubbed cassette is better than nothing.
Wow. What an odd voice. I like it, it's really very pretty, but it's -not- what I expected. Quite a reach.... almost two octaves, maybe a bit more, from what I'm hearing. Nice tunes, not a lot of tremor, solid turns and holds.
Anyway, I'm going to wander on and find something to play, preferably before I somehow manage to disembowel myself with my deodorant or something.
- Monday I managed to 'lose' my cigarettes, lighter, and slippers. After nearly three hours of hunting, I finally got annoyed enough to just let it go for a bit. I stopped at the refrigerator to get a glass of milk, and there they were. Yes, I'd managed to refrigerate a half pack of cigarettes, a disposable Bic lighter, and my slippers. I should've known it was going to be an interesting week.
- Tuesday I managed to run the Explorer dry and strand myself out on Rte 175. Fortunately Crys was able to come rescue me; I had about an hour too cool my heels on the shoulder, and then she showed up to cart me to a gas station and back.
- Wednesday, in addition to the lovely little stomach bug, I managed to trip... on a piece of paper. Head first into the dryer. Fortunately, both of us survived.
- Today, Thursday, I got myself up and around and drove out to Glen Burnie for my monthly psych appointment (you did know I was a loon, right?)... which, as it happens, is tomorrow. *facepalms*
- Arriving back home, I promptly tripped over the SAME DAMNED PIECE OF PAPER from yesterday, landing sprawled on the carpet and wondering just how moronic I can be and still be considered sentient. Said piece of paper has been (again) put in the trash.

Oh, and yes - I still consider you sentient. I know a lot of much worse morons that I sadly have to classify as sentient, thus preventing me from shooting them and getting off with claiming that I was putting them out of their misery. You'll have plenty of warning before you near those lower rungs of the evolutionary ladder. :)

On the upside, It seems that your week certainly hasn't harmed your sense of humour any. Just keep at it, ya know we're all here. n.n
