(no subject)

Status update, mostly.
In no particular order:

• Sinus infection continues to rage unchecked; the antibiotic and nasal spray have thus far failed to put a dent in it.
• The truck is now properly inspected; there's paperwork to be done yet, but it should officially be mine in a couple weeks or less.
• Grandma's doing fairly well, though she's getting a bit cross with the extended family members who want to treat her like a simple-minded invalid. She threatened to beat one of the Aunts with her cane if she didn't stop treating her like a child. I -really- wish I'd been there to see her face.
• The piggies all get cleaned tonight, so hopefully they'll be a bit less strident.
• My room will also be whipped back to something approaching neat; with all the confusion of the last couple weeks it's slid into extreme disarray... it's hard to concentrate when it's this bad.
• Dad's agreed to help me put a shelf up in here, to get the wiring and clutter off my desk. When that gets done, the aging eight port SMC EtherEZ hub will be replaced by the sixteen port SynOptics LattisHub 2803. Still a 10mb hub, but it'll give me a bit more flexibility. Depending on what I find when I get to the research on the DLink wireless AP I've inherited, the SynOptics unit may come out and get tossed in a drawer. Of course, that means FINDING the DLink unit, which is somewhere in my room.
• I've got a machine built for Megan to replace the Celeron 550-based machine she'd been using. Cleaning in here will also give me my almost-a-workspace area back to get it configured and OS'd.
• I'm tired. Very very tired.

Other than that, there's really not a lot going on.
