And the dust begins to settle...

And the dust begins to settle... )

On to happier matters, now. Today is the official opening day of the 'Heaven. Hell. Horses.' MUSH, an ORC-licensed In Nomine MUSH set in Louisville, Kentucky. It's a wonderful roleplaying world from the good folk at Steve Jackson Games, one first introduced to me via [livejournal.com profile] jhyanmar. The MUSH can be found at telnet://nekodojo.org on port 4206. Many thanks to the lovely couple who own Nekodojo as well; I consider both of them to be family, even if there's not as much contact now as there was once. Those of you that're avid gamers should at least look at the website for the RPG; it's a fascinating concept. To me, anyway.

Which reminds me; my IN library came to me mostly from [livejournal.com profile] jhyanmar... not content merely to pique my interest, he feeds it with books shipped across the country. *blows a kiss* Thank you, darling.

And there's also a MUD that's on my list to properly explore... one that's actually got a real /plot/ beyond simple monster bashing. I graduated from MUDs to MUCKs and MUSHes years ago, the storyteller in me hungering for some meat... finding a MUD that's caught up to me is a novel experience, and it looks like fun. I'm simply too scattered to do it now, but it's also on the 'the move is done' hotlist. For those interested, the game in question is Chalacyn Nights.

And now... now, I'm going to quit babbling and turn what's left of my focus to dinner and a bit of RO. Yes. Pretty graphiccy mindlessness. Though there's plot -there-, too, if you look. :)
