So much for sleep. It seems to elude me utterly unless I'm to the falling-down-passing-out point. *sigh*
( Snipped because I am SUCH a lemming.... )Still grinding out the repairs on the B5MUSH webpage. The pages were salvaged via WebArchive, so the HTML is hosed... and my speed at such tasks is nowhere near what it once was. *sigh* It'll get done eventually. It's slowed further by the spelling and grammar revisions I'm making to the archived ISN posts; I just can't put them up the way they are. I would have to commit Seppuku. Yes, some of them are that bad. So to make it all work, I've got
WebSphere Studio Homepage Builder open, plus two instances of Notepad, plus a dictionary reference package, plus an extra instance of Mozilla. It makes for a high memory tasking; Originally I'd been using
Arachnophilia as my HTML editor, but the memory load was simply too high. As amazing as it may sound, the WebSphere product's got roughly five times the hard drive footprint... and a -fifth- of the memory footprint. (For those of you who remember the first version of my Geocities site, it was done with a package called
IBM's Top Page 2000... which evolved into the WebSphere product. Sixty day evaluation period on the trial version, and I'm hoping I'll be able to scrounge up the money to actually -buy- it.)
And I'm babbling, but... well, there's not a lot that can be done for that.
I'm going to sit here a bit longer and see if I can get my brain to un-kink enough to continue working on the ISN page...
*hugs wearily*
