Lovely chat with a dolly... I hope she enjoyed it. I suspect I took too cerebral a tactic... but I still finding my way with it. I had fun, but I won't know till tomorrow if she did too. *hopes*
I had a nice time at my sister's place; Tina and I have always gotten along fairly well, and she's fun to talk to. Her computer, however, is one dead critter. After I rebuild /my/ machine, she's getting the Athlon 650 that I've been using... which is leaps and bounds better than the mildly overclocked Pentium 200MMX that's in her machine. Yes, mild. It's only clocking in at 223mhz, and that's not what died... it was the harddrive and the monitor that seem to have cooked off within moments of each other. The drive /screamed/ when I powered it on...
Were I going to be someplace other than on the road to my in-laws on Halloween, I'd be setting that SOB up as a sound effect prop. :p I might just save it for Christmas. :)
On a totally unrelated note: forgetting that you're wearing mascara can be a bad thing if you rub your eyes. I look like a raccoon. :p
Anyway, I'm going to bash on Civ3 for a bit more and then go to bed. G'nite, darlings. :)

And no, it wasn't a -fast- drive when it was new. Seagate Medalist 3221's are rather poketypoke, to be honest. No, this was the gut-wrenching shriek of the heads engraving lovely swirls into the platters...
