*giggles* Well, if there're any Bon Jovi fans among my readers, I'm sure this piece of drivel'll bring them out in droves. :p The original didn't rhyme either, and the new words actually suit the beat pattern; after I took Megan back to work, 98 Rock played the song as I was coming home, and I found myself redoing the lyrics on the fly. And really, that's me. I'm going to fiddle about a bit, then get dressed and dash off to therapy. After this, I think I need it. :p

I used to be quite popular with the music department at the college. Enterprising students would bring me a topic matter, and buy me a pitcher of beer, and by the time the pitcher was done (usually, there were two pitcher tunes... and one that took a whopping -five-) they had a shiny new filk to perform for the department talent show.

I'm a bit rusty, though... 's been about five years since the last -real- attempt (a rewrite of 'Boys of Summer' for a budding Domme with a passion for gadgets... that she was later forbidden to perform. It was ... pretty bawdy, even for me. :p). Time to get the senses rolling again. :)
