The Bitch's Last Stand

Tonight has been just -oh- so interesting. Personally, I just -live- for the telltale knock at the door from the local police... particularly when it involves Rachel K., the -FORMER- renter. And it turns out that there are -no- provisions under MD state law for me to keep a security for the monies she owes us. *sigh* Follows is the text of the 'note to self' I've written to jog my memory tomorrow:

Trespass Order vs person(s) on property
Restraining Order vs person(s) on personal matters.

Officer Daul
Anne Arundel County Police Force
Badge Number: 1125
Ph. 410.223.6135

Turned up at the front door at 8:30pm, Tuesday, January 9, 2001 with two AACPD officers to claim the rest of her possessions. Advised by officers that retaining her property was considered theft by the laws of Maryland State; permitted supervised access to second bedroom for the removal of said items. Further advised by quite helpful troopers that 'Restraining Order' was for slightly different purpose; what was sought was a 'Trespass Order'.

Further investigation into the matters of property and rental agreements must me made, as well as more thorough research into matters of 'Domestic Standby'.

Now then. Anyone -else- out there want to try and make my life miserable? Should I just save the hassle and go buy a shotgun and a single shell? Or maybe a recoilless assualt carbine and a few thousand rounds, so I can go 'postal'? I think I'm going to go mix alcohol with the prescription painkillers, now.
