*sigh* Quarantine
Local friends should probably steer clear of us for a few days. Normally I'd be peeved at Megan for sleeping til 2pm... but when she surfaces flushed and sweating, and running a fever of 102, the irritation becomes concern. She's got a bowl of chicken broth and a -very- flat pepsi to sip, and been put back into bed.
As I went to put the thermometer away, I hesitated. I'm the type that almost -never- runs a fever... not even when passing a kidney stone or nearly dying from pneumonia, so thermometers aren't the most 'useful' of objects in my eyes. But when I glanced up in the mirror, the same fever spots that were on Megan's face also showed faintly on mine... so it went into my mouth after cleaning. And I'm running a fever just under the 101 mark. The thermometer got alcohol'd again and put away, and I scrapped the remainder of my cleaning plans.
Maybe I can get something done after tomorrow morning's doc appointment. *sigh* Perhaps the rain... isn't really to blame...
Okay, so much for the Rocky Horror reference... I... am going to curl back up on the sofa. I have a stack of KODT comics to read courtesy of Mike, and maybe if I'm 'resting' the fever will break.
