*sigh* I remember that I used to love the rain. Really. I was one of those 'maniacs' that would intentionally go out for a long walk when it rained, and it didn't matter if I was alone or not, I was happy. It seemed so beautiful and refreshing, then. Now the experience is colored by the pain... and what was once one of my favorite types of weather is now one of the bleakest.

It saddens me. A joy was taken from me... a tally mark moved from one column to the other without equitable exchange.

I want my life back.
