Mansion, take 2.
Base install is done. Pulling down the mainboard drivers now. Once that's all squared I'll hit the nVidia site and grab the last four revisions of the driver suite... ONE of them works, but I don't remember which.
And then I pray that the drive I've chosen as the core is stable. One thing it has going for it is that it's not another f*cking Maxtor. A pox on their descendants, ill fate to their protectors. Yeah, I'm that pissed at them. In an hour or so I should be ready to start running Winblows Upchuck against it to get it patched current... this install is a stock SP1, which is all sorts of funky for current needs.
*sigh* Here's to hoping my luck doesn't all run in the same channel... I'm getting tired of watching my builds crash and burn. It -really- gets monotonous.
