(no subject)

Home from work early. Bleah.

I'd honestly thought that the creeping crud that nailed me Sunday night and had me in the bathroom most of Monday was residual from a bad salad from McD's. Gradually, I'd stopped needing to stay 30 seconds from the porcelain shrine, and thought it was done with aside from occasional stomach/intestinal burbling. But it didn't go away. And didn't go away. Then my boss called me last night; she was now down with what sounded like the same thing, and she was trying to find out if I'd be at work or if she should call our mid-shift guy to come in early and open up. Confident that by then I'd surely be over this, I promised her I'd be there and wished her better soon.

Have I mentioned lately that I'm a damned fool?

A restless night later, I slowly managed to drag myself together. Morning blahs is what I wrote it off to. *sigh* So now I'm home. I'm soaked in sweat, and feeling like my brain's being stretched slowly on some macabre torture rack. I stayed at work long enough to make sure that the new client (today's their first visit) was set up, and then came back here. I've called my primary care doc and been told that I'm -not- contagious at this stage, so at least I don't have to worry about infecting folk, but it's certainly not a pleasant sensation... and it'll likely hold on at least through this evening before letting me be. Joy. :/

In other news... *peeks around* I wanna be a Doodle, dangit! There, I said it. It won't make sense but to a couple people, but nyah! Soooooo cute! Blame Canada.

MMO and electronica fans should go watch Who Needs A Zeppelin? for a Horde's eye view of WoW. I think it's pretty neat, and I like the song.

And yes, I'm very carefully avoiding more than touching on my emotional state. Trust me on this one; very few folks like being bombarded with broken glass.

... I think that's all I have. All I'm gonna post, anyway. I've a phone call to make, then a nap to take. Then I'll see if I can work a bit of old fashioned digital magic and make the Sottster live again....

Ah, the power of doodles. And feel better, darn it!

I have been thinking about you for ages, hoping to see a post from you. I am so sorry you're not feeling well, but I am glad to see you, even if it's virtual and you're sick IRL.

Please take care of yourself.

'm working on it.
And it's a pity the Doodle fanclub is only for littles. :(

'm alive, love. That's about all that can be said about it. I've had a mail in my inbox from you for forever to remind me to answer you, and .... well, that's how good I've been, if that makes any sense. She'll be gone in two months, and that'll be a very large part of it.

My life, such as it is, is spent either in WoW or in A18. My hours in A18 are truly strange, though, and highly dependent on manual coordination. But one of these days I'll return to reality in bolder form... or at least become a regular roleplayer at SMT again. I think that second one's far more likely, but given the 'must hide from her, must hide from her' choir in my head, it's near impossible to focus on a real scene. :( And they're all excuses, but they're what I have, yannow? :p

*smooch* Miss you.

This one of those homemade WoW videos? I got to see a couple of them when a friend was visiting a couple weeks ago, and liked them... (one was the reason for my getting into the band "Stratovarius")... alas, I cannot download those at any reasonable speed on my puter, as my dialup connection is too slow (don't ask me why I'm not on DSL or better- ask Verizon).

If you play WoW, which server(s) you play on?

Anywho, take care, and it's nice to see you back. :)

Nothing much

Just a *thmooch* to remind you that I love you. :)

Thanks for the "still alive" heads up, was starting to wonder.

Yes, it is. Orc Lock with nightmare mount, all set to Surface to Air from The Chemical Brothers. I've got half a dozen vids I liked well enough to grab, and that's the newest.

Stratovarius totally rocks. I've got a few of thier albums and it grooves.

Khaz Modan. All of my Alliance toons are members of Dead Peasants Society. All but one of my Horde toons are members of Undead Peasants Society. :p The highest level is the L34 nelf treehugger, the lowest is a L3 tauren treehugger. Thus far, that's the only class dupe in the lot.

Thanks. I never really left, I just have this tendency of flying below radar when things get really ragged.

I love you too. And one of these centuries I'll come visit. I hope. :p

As I commented to Shikyrie, I just have a tendency of going below radar when things get ragged. With the Megan Saga begining to wrap up and continuing health issues, I've got about all I can handle just crawling from bed to work each day. *hugs*

I like Stratovarius. the one song in particular that I like is "Season of Change".

All my toons are either on Windrunner, Eldre'Thalas, Emerald Dream, Argent Dawn, or Dragonmaw. ED and DM are horde, the rest are mainly alliance (with the exception of 1 horde on WR). My highest is a 60 gnome warrior on WR lowest is probably a L1 i rolled but never played on one of the horde servers. currently, I'm playing a 37 (almost 38) NE rogue on ET (pic is in post on my LJ). If you're ever on one of those, let me know, and i'll get you into a guild :)

Oh hon, as long as you're doing something that makes you happy, I am just all for it. Really. And Wow is just way too addictive, isn't it? I played for ages and then decided to take a break when my guild kinda fell apart. Now, though, I am writing things. Like, actually WRITING. Hee. I even wrote a teeny fic about Londo, on my LJ.

I resisted LJ for so so long, but now I guess I am sucked in.

Anyway, anytime you want to talk let me know - email me your phone #. I'll call you, save your pennies for more important things.

HUGS, cause you do give the bestest hugs. :)
