(no subject)

If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, please post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE UP AND FICTIONAL memory of you and me. It can be anything you want—good or bad—BUT IT HAS TO BE FAKE.

(Yes, yes, I know I'm late. Humor me, dammit...)

Remember when we went back in time, and played extras in the Wizard of Oz?

I couldn't think of anything fictional to write about, so I decided to remind you about the time that we went out drinking. It was just you, me and a 40 of Smirnoff. I don't know how you managed to finish the bottle! I still have nightmares about that night. And a hangover that just won't quit. I guess that's normal, though. It was only last night.

Remember the time we just laid out on the dock, watching the shooting stars and their reflections on the mirror of the lake?

Oh, man, the time I remember most about you is when we got into that gunkata fight down at the theater that only showed Old Western movies. Hah, those crazy New Western movie guys didn't know what hit 'em.

THe closet was a ruin.

You tore through the doors. The glass paned one when dialing my door didn't work. My front door was shattered, and my walk-in closet. You yanked the pipe from the walls that held the hangars for my clothes, and the belt around my neck. I heard the roar. I thought it was the last thing I would hear.

You wouldn't let go of me. You let me cry. You let me say everything. You handled the landlord and the police. I never asked, but you unfolded the futon, and stayed. It was a week before you let me out...And even then, you kept a tight watch. Lots of videogames, lots of comfort food. But your eyes never left me. You always fell asleep after I did.

I never got to thank you.

I will never forget that day...

at Anzio. I was in a foxhole and we were taking heavy German fire. 2 of my platoon were killed by a grenade launched into our area and I was badly wounded.

I will never forget how you dove into the foxhole and took over the machine gun, killing half-a-dozen Nazi soldiers who had worked their way towards us.

I had passed out by this point, but the orderly at the hospital told me how you carried me 5 km through enemy-held woods and back to safe territory.

The night that we went to go see Hammerfall ... !! *-*
And we got their autographs and everything! ^___^ And after that, we drank beer with them, and treated them to pizza. ^^

It was a little after midnight. We were not in the con hotel but a hotel about a block down from that. M was asleep but I was in the outer part of the suite watching TV. You happened to walk by our room and noticed the TV on, so you made faces at me through the window.

We walked around in search of a soda machine, and then we walked around in search of a place to smoke. We went out the back door but it locked behind us so we had to walk back around the front to get back in.

Remember that time we made it into NASA and became the first people to set foot on the sun? That was cool.

I remember collecting bittergreen petals with you near the Daedric ruins outside of Ghostgate.

I was thinking of the time we hired out as Orion mercenaries and turncoated on the client and made of with 50 million credits in rare isotopes.

We had to take out the crew, "I" used aircraft grade frangibles, "Better safe than sorry" but oh no, YOU had to use an antique slug gun. You damaged the hull and we had to spend two weeks in pressure suits to get to a port we could unload the loot at!

I still gag at the smell of suit syrup!

Remember back in high school when we turned loose 3 live pigs in the teacher's lounge? I don't know how we managed to not get expelled. The barbecue was a thing to remember though.
