Random jots...
Mindspring sucks. They didn't used to; they were the very best ISP I'd ever dealt with. Then the Corporate Powers That Be decided to 'merge' with Earthlink... and it's been getting more and more undependable as time goes by. At this point, I'm not sure Earthlink could -give- me broadband and keep me.. just as soon as the money straightens out, I'm jumping ship to a new provider. (If someone from Earthlink/Mindspring sees this, and would like to -fix- things, please feel free to contact me... yeah, right)

nightambre aimed me at, RPGworld, is actually kinda cute. I think I'm done fighting Marlboros now, but you never know I guess. I'm woefully behind on the webcomics I follow... I've managed to get caught up on Sluggy Freelance, Megatokyo, and Venus Envy... I need to pull the links from the old install for the rest of them.
I'm very tired of being half sick. I need to shake the congestion and drainage issues somehow... there's things that need doing and I'm feeling too rotten to get to them. :/ At least I've managed to keep the living room semi picked up; I won't be restarting the cleaning from scratch.
Utopia is rapidly becoming a 'don't care' issue. For the second Age in a row, I'm 'gifted' with a kingdom of war-frenzied 15yo's. There is -no- strategic or honor value in repeatedly flinging yourself into a grinder... and I wish I could make them understand that. *sigh* Maybe I can defect and get myself into a -real- kingdom. These kids won't listen to me, and they're setting up to get utterly pasted just like -last- age...
Kweepie managed to scare the heck out of me this morning. Somehow he managed to get himself down off the table and onto the floor... I came back into the room with his washed out and refilled water bottle, and he was nowhere to be seen. He'd found one of my pairs of sweatpants next to my desk and made himself a new home. :p Little fuzzball is a nutcase.
*sigh* And I'm hungry. Maybe I'll try to scramble some eggs. I'm rapidly running out of things that can be done in smaller portions. There's got to be something, though... time to go look...
