Just a minor addition to my earlier post (only available to friends, sorry)...
As I closed out my LJ client, and began my wanderings on the web, the very first thing I encountered was an obituary. :(
Sometime Friday afternoon, August 6th, one of my favorite singer/performers passed away.
*sigh* Another of the voices that defined my musical tastes, silenced. Sleep well, sir.
