*sigh*
Having a phone and/or people-in-person day. *shudder* Sometimes the fears get control; the best I've managed to find to do is just buckle in and ride it out. In the meantime, the folks near/dear to me should be aware that I'll be maintaining a -very- low profile until it passes.

A couple of notes, just in passing:

• Bantering pokes shouldn't be read as 'hate you' indicators. I'm every bit as hard on myself, if not harder... and taking it personally is only going to make it harder for me to cope with you in 'my' reality.


• Last night's (this morning's?) post was an aberration brought about by mounting bs in my life. Every now and then I need to simply rant. I'm okay. Honest.


• Low-fat cheese is... rather cardboard like. :p Ah well. It was 60% off (I paid $1.00), so it was worth trying.


• Ringu is -still- the creepiest movie I've ever seen. Wow. Great film, though...


• Having to choose between an anti-depressant and an anti-allergy med is not a fun choice. I picked the anti-depressant... and am discovering new levels of 'being congested' I'd never dreamed existed. Go me. :p


• My sofa is more comfortable than my bed. Am I the only one that finds that incredibly odd?


• Bolt Thrower makes -awesome- background music for Diablo II. :p

As an unrelated side note that ties in with a post from a couple days back, I now have original copies of Homeworld, Heavy Gear II, and Star Trek: Armada. It's a late birthday gift to myself, utilizing the cash that my Da gave me... all three titles total was under $24. Now if I can just finish stomping on Diablo II, I can try something 'new'...

I get the Dork Tower RSS feed into my Friends page. Today's piece is a guest spot... and one that also carries a bit of commentary after it. Dirty politics aside, it's a damned shame that 'decorative plants' are more valuable than a long-time cartoonist...
