Any questions?

At any rate, it's been blessedly quiet in my mail. But where most folk would be thankful for the tranquility, I find myself worried that my family (who is all rather high strung in their various ways) is in a snit and waiting to pounce. *sigh* Not a terribly reassuring feeling... but there's not a lot else I can do. I've explained my original thoughts and motivations, tried to do some damage control... and now just have to sit back and wait to see who's pissed off and has summarily decided to 'never open their mouth again'. That's a wrong answer even before it's said, and I'm hoping that nobody's adopted that stance. It's a rather juvenile passive-aggressive posture... one that I've gotten used to seeing from Megan.

Please, God... let my family see that that answer only compounds the problem. Please. I know I've been on the business end of your Staff for the last few... but I need this, and You know it. Most every person in my 'Friends' list is considered Family... each of them has strengths and weaknesses, and all of them are loved. Some seem determined to frighten me away, though...

At any rate, it's 0140hrs, and I'm sleepy after the day of carnage that I've had. Goodnight, my darlings. I hope that sleep finds and treats you to the gentle cradling warmth of it's embrace.

Well, it turns out that my worries were mostly unfounded as regards my family; still more proof that I should never try and do 'deep thoughts' in the wake of a major fight with Megan.. Ah well.

Amusements

Given that I'm snowed in, without a chance in hell of getting out of the neighborhood for at least another day, I've been rummaging around in my electronic pursuits for something to keep me distracted. Final Fantasy VII only really works when I'm fully alert; what I needed was mindless entertainment. At first, I was relying on Popcap Games; Bejeweled Deluxe... it served admirably for a good while, and then I was bored again. And in that moment of darkness, I stumbled across an old applet game I'd downloaded -ages- ago... Poke-a-Ball Fun Time, from Digital Pink. It's a Breakout variant, with mild Hentai themes. *shrug* I ignore the 'extras', enjoying the breakout fun. At any rate, have fun-gema!
