Hrm. Normally when Megan comes up in my journal, it's a rant/complaint or in the wake of yet another screaming match. Today... I'm actually kinda proud of her. She's finally beginning to develop something of a work ethic... something I've been pinging her about for nearly 5 years.
She woke up this morning to discover a healthy snowfall outside. The car was buried too deeply for her still-learning snow driving skills, but the roads had been rough plowed already. Instead of simply shrrugging it off and calling out, she tried to rouse me to see if I was coherent enough to drive her. Well... no. I -vaguely- remember her trying to wake me from the period of drug induced unconsciousness I label 'sleep', and that was that. So she did make the call to her Temp service, explaining that she had no transportation at the moment, but would try to get in as soon as she could (I found this out later). When I finally stirred around 1115, her first question was would I drive her to work...
This from the woman who'd used sniffles as an excuse to miss three days of work less than a year ago. So she's off at work, getting in a half day, and I'm wondeirng if the Pod People have replaced her with a look-alike alien. :p But I figured that in all fairness I should post the good -and- the bad, so there it is.
At any rate, that's the tidbit of the moment.
*hugs and cuddles*
