Annnnnnnd....
We're back. Woot. I'd just settled in last night, happily chatting away in a small handful of chat windows, when there was a loud, echoing, boom/crack/sizzle noise that rang through the neighborhood. It startled me, but I had no time really to react because then everything went pitch black and silent.
Nuts. Power's out. Well, what the hell. There for a while it was happening fairly regularly, and I'd started keeping candles in my bottom desk drawer. So I felt down to find the handle, pulled the drawer open, fished out one of the big jar candles (strawberry cented... yummy!) and the spare lighter, and gave myself some light back. Used the glow from that to find and locate four others, and tried to arrange them safely in the room.
And hour later, I realized that I'd utterly lost my mind and had been trying to some cheap knockoff of Feng Shui and was STILL trying to arrange the candles. *snickers softly* Yeah, you all knew I was a frootloop when you signed up , so I don't wanna hear it. :)
After a few hours of sitting in front of my silent and dark monitor, hoping for the hum of resumed power, I took my meds like a good dolly and went to bed. Given my near legendary issues with sleeping, I'd honestly expected to thrash around for a long while before the medications took effect... which did not turn out to be the case. And there were dreams...
I've been up for nearly five hours, now, and still can't shake the imagery I was treated to... vivid enough that upon waking, I bore some of the results physically. While it's hardly unheard of for that to happen to me, it's typically been an infrequent occurence; this is becoming regular. I may summarize the contents of the dreams, but the ones close to me likely don't need to be told, and it would have to be a friends locked post because of content anyway. *giggles softly* And I'll never look at a hotel room the same way. *^.^*
I've got some errands I need to run before Megan disappears with the Saturn, so I need to run. I should be about later, though. *hugs and scurries off*
