My original Elementary School is gone, now, the one where I did grades K-3. It was torn down almost ten years ago, and the neighborhood slid further into decay. Grades 4 & 5 were done here:

Very little has changed there. And I can honestly say that I don't miss any of them; the three teachers I admired so much have all died in the intervening years. The three teachers that I loathed with every inch of my soul are still teaching there. Typical.
I'm exhausted today, after a night of patchwork catnaps and sleeplessness. The things that are plaguing my mind are things that I can not immediately fix, so I'm trying to push them to the back of my mind and get on with my day. One of the things that I'd meant to comment on was the gift I was given last night; one of the members of the gaming group came across a DVD release of a movie I'd been hunting for for the last few years... for the whopping price of $1.99. So I am now the proud owner of a copy of Hell Comes to Frogtown... featuring the one and only Roddy Piper as the star. Hrm. Maybe Piper should run for president. He could challenge other government leaders to Hardcore Wrestling matches. The world would still hate the US, but at least it would be mildly entertaining.
*mrf* Anyway, I really don't have anything big to say. But apparently, that's nothing new.
