Dropped two of the three fuzzles at C&K's place, where they'll reside until we're back monday. In the last 40 minutes, I've gotten the final load of laundry into the dryer, packed all of Megan's costuming and clothing, my clothing, my P-II 266 laptop (running RH 9.0, of course, and stocked with a ton of AD&D pdf books), laid out my clothes for the morning, had a cigarette, taken my meds, and broken a serious sweat after wrenching my bad knee again.
Joy. But we're now 90% ready to go. The family-band radio needs to get set up in the car (ten minute job tomorrow, while having a cigarette), the car needs loading, and everything gets shut down. Not bad at all, considering a bit over an hour ago -none- of the prep work was done. Megan crashed and burned about an hour back; typical, really. Even with the strokes and the FMS, I can still outpace her. And regularly do.
If only I could run like that for more than one and two hour bursts... I'd be back to work in a heartbeat. *sigh* Still working on that one. At any rate, this'll probably be the 'final' journal entry until our return Monday; we're headed to Jamestown, Virginia, for Military Through The Ages. Megan will be out and in character with Das TeufelsAlpdrücken Fähnlein, and I'll probably be flying a camera, so I can collapse on a bench when I need to. I'm still nominally listed as the Kaplan for the unit; originally, I was the unit webmaster as well. My original page can still be accessed HERE - it was taken from me in a show of who's popular with the BoD. Hmph. I think I'll start filching what little updating was done on the new page, and then resume building it. *sigh* Petty of me, isn't it? It's been years, and that one still stings.
*shrug* I guess I just need to grow up. Anyway, I need to run off again, and try and get some sleep. Be well, darlings.
